Om Base Productions

Om Base
is a boutique television and media production company based in Santa Monica, California. We specialize in hand-crafting original nonfiction and lifestyle programming for our network clients. We also create branded content with Los Angeles’ best commercial talent.
From working in a multi-million dollar Beverly Hills mansion with a famed chef, to producing Pure Michigan campaigns on car-less Mackinac Island with only horse and buggy, to filming the go-go bars in Bangkok for a Travel Channel show, the Om Base team loves to parachute in anywhere on the planet and deliver with aplomb.
So, what about the company name? It’s a nod to yogic philosophy. The Om Base ethos is to ‘keep cool in the chaos’ while having fun and treating people with care and respect. It seems to work. Om Base has produced more than 300 episodes of broadcast TV, 300 videos, and many branded entertainment vignettes featuring national brands.
We love collaborating with our clients! As part of the boutique experience, the executive producers are hands-on with all projects that pass through Om Base Productions.  The company nimbly scales up to large productions with an exceptional production and post-production team with 1000’s of hours of professional experience writing, producing, directing and editing in both television and film.

Hot Movie Sets on Travel Channel

Hot Movie Sets TV show special on Travel Channel by Om Base Productions

Hot Movie Sets travels to the world’s ultimate movie scene locations. We join movie insiders who reveal where and how iconic blockbuster scenes were filmed.

Some places are so remarkable on screen that Hollywood’s top directors and actors just can’t resist hitting the road and filming on location. But why should movie stars have all the fun? Hot Movie Sets puts us in the shoes of Hollywood’s hottest leading ladies and coolest heroes.

From the notorious nightspots of Bangkok where the “wolf pack” had their Hangover 2 misadventures, to the private island where Johnny Depp stranded Penelope Cruz in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,to the surprising locations where the Fast Five’s Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson satisfy their need for speed and feel right at home, Hot Movie Sets is your ticket to A-list movie adventures.

Hot Movie Sets also uncovers the hangouts and hotel suites the stars enjoyed while filming on location. For instance, we check out the 6,000 square-foot villas where George Clooney and Brad Pitt stayed when shooting the iconic heist movie, Ocean’s 11 and catch the burlesque show in the New Orleans bar actor and “sexiest man alive” Channing Tatum opened after filming 21 Jump Street there.

Tune in to Travel Channel as Hollywood hits to road to the world’s hottest movie set locations.
